The Washington Post holds a special place in my heart. In my high school inside the Capital Beltway, we had to read it and write about a current event each week; a lesson I am genuinely grateful for now (thanks, LHS teachers). When Postoni, a take on Bodoni designed by Matthew Carter, made its first appearance, it created an impression on my teenaged, type-inclined brain. In 2009, I was honored to expand the family with fellow Font Bureau staff, and oversaw further expansion in 2018 with the beautiful work of Richard Lipton. Reading this paper makes me feel at home.
