Another great project with the team at loyalkaspar and NBC. Starting with NBC’s proprietary typeface, Tinker, I was called in to give it a refresh. I made some optical compensations, corrected the diacritics, added small caps, respaced, and rekerned the 32 styles.
No refresh would be complete without top-notch engineering. I called on Glenda Bellarosa, who made sure the typeface was cross-platform compatible and completely futureproof, so that no one would ever need technical support.
At 30 Rockefeller in the Before Times, after finishing work on SYFY Hero & Sidekick and USA Network. Love that Art Deco!
