As a fan of the outdoors, I am naturally also a fan of the WPA-era National Parks Posters. While the lettering on them has been digitized before, I wanted to see what if I could bring something distinctive to this style. While digitizing the width axis, I realized a contrast axis could be an interesting challenge, and Glissade was born.
Currently, the uppercase is mostly fleshed out, although it could use some tweaking. I don’t think I’ll be making a lowercase (but I might change my mind). The numbers still need some work.
